THE LELAND TEAM
JOSH L. FRAZIER
Josh is the owner of Leland Fly Fishing Outfitters, which he named after his grandfather, whose love of the sport was passed down to him through generations. Josh travels the world in pursuit of fish, but his favorite fishing holes are back at his roots in the small mountain streams of the Eastern Sierra.
KEITH WESTRA
Keith's love of fly fishing started on the north coast of California pursuing king salmon and steelhead. He is an expert in custom fly tying and prides himself in being able to match that "one of a kind fly." When not tying or working, you can find Keith chasing stripers in the San Francisco Bay and Delta or high-sticking for trout in the fastest waters he can find. (read more about Keith Westra)
RICHARD "PAPPY" MONTGOMERY
After more than 35 years of fishing the flats and off-shore waters in Florida with light tackle Richard made the switch to fly fishing. His previous career as an aquatic biologist gave him the opportunity to fly fish most of the Gulf Coast and Eastern seaboard. Currently living in Maryland, Richard is our East Coast correspondant keeping us abreast of the False Albacore migration. (read more about Richard Montgomery)

MATT "MJ" JONES
Matthew "MJ" Jones, originally from Kansas, moved to the Bay Area via Florida. While in the Sunshine State, he spent 5 years fishing the flats and surf for reds, snook, and jacks. Now living in the heart of San Francisco's famous Haight Ashbury neighborhood (literally steps away from the Grateful Dead's first house), you can find MJ hunting trout in the rich waters of Northern California from the coast to the Sierra, casting to more exotic saltwater species when he finds time to travel, and occassionally tossing some streamers to local striped bass in the vast Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. In the shop, MJ spends most of his time outfitting our customers' gear to the Leland Rigging Standard, teaching fly tying classes, and helping out customers find answers to their questions.
