Based on the successful, award-winning 2500 series, the four reels in the 4500 Series boast reduced weight, increased rigidity, and a modernized high tech minimalist design concept. Each reel in the series is equipped with a super compact 3:1 graphite and stainless steel disc drag system and is precisely machined from aircraft grade aluminum for a lifetime of durable performance. Sage's 4500 Series Fly Reels are also interchangeable with spools from the 4500, 4500CF, and past 2500 Series. Finished in aluminum or bronze and protected by a neoprene and ballistic cloth reel case, the 4500 Series is the choice for anglers who put their gear to the test on large fish and in punishing environments.
